2. Affiliate Links — Full Disclosure

Some articles on NomaWorld contain affiliate links. An affiliate link is a tracked URL that earns NomaWorld a small commission if a reader clicks through and completes a qualifying action (such as a purchase, sign-up, or subscription) on the partner's website. The commission is paid by the partner company — it does not add any cost to you as a reader.

How We Identify Affiliate Links

Wherever a page contains affiliate links, we disclose this explicitly and prominently — at the top of the relevant section or article, not buried in small print at the bottom of the page and not concealed behind technical jargon. We comply with FTC Endorsement Guide requirements and equivalent consumer disclosure regulations in other jurisdictions.

Affiliate Links Do Not Affect Rankings or Recommendations

The presence of an affiliate relationship with a company has zero influence on whether that company appears in our guides, how it is ranked relative to competitors, or what our editorial conclusion about its product or service is. Guides published in our Guides Library are researched and written before any commercial arrangement is considered. If a company pays us an affiliate commission but independently earns a lower ranking than a competitor — due to inferior product quality, pricing, or user experience — that ranking stands. We do not adjust recommendations for commercial reasons.

In practice, this means some of the best-ranked options in our guides may carry no affiliate link at all. We point readers toward the best option for their needs, irrespective of whether we earn a commission.

3. Sponsored Content & Paid Placements

Occasionally, companies may sponsor content on NomaWorld. Sponsored content is:

• Clearly labeled — Every piece of sponsored content is identified with an explicit "Sponsored" label at the top of the article or section, in a font size and placement that cannot be missed.
• Editorially controlled — Sponsors do not write, edit, or review the substantive content of sponsored articles. They may provide factual background information about their products, which our editorial team independently verifies and rewrites according to our Editorial Standards.
• Topically relevant — We only accept sponsored content arrangements with companies whose products or services are genuinely relevant to NomaWorld's editorial focus areas.

We refuse sponsored content that would require us to omit material facts, modify editorial conclusions, or publish claims we cannot independently verify.

4. Display Advertising

NomaWorld may display banner or contextual display advertisements. Display ads on NomaWorld are served based on the content of the page being viewed (contextual targeting), not behavioral profiling of individual readers. In accordance with our Cookie Policy, we do not currently use behavioral advertising cookies or retargeting pixels.

Display advertising inventory is managed independently from the editorial team. Advertising operations staff do not influence, review, or interact with article content. The advertising team has no access to the editorial calendar.

5. What We Will Never Accept

To eliminate ambiguity, here is a direct list of commercial arrangements NomaWorld categorically rejects:

• Paid editorial insertions: Paying to have a company, product, or service mentioned favorably in guide text that is not labeled as sponsored
• Paid ranking manipulation: Paying to achieve a higher ranking position in a "best of" comparison guide
• Native advertising without disclosure: Sponsored articles designed to appear as organic editorial content
• Negative competitor removal: Paying to have negative mentions of a company's competitors removed from guides
• Review suppression: Paying to suppress, delay, or soften unfavorable editorial assessments
• Anchor text manipulation: Purchasing links with specific commercial anchor text for SEO purposes without disclosure
