Fact-Checking & Integrity
Corrections Policy & Error Reporting
1. Our Commitment to Factual Accuracy
NomaWorld is dedicated to publishing instructions that are accurate, actionable, and current. However, because technology platforms update, statutory tax brackets change, and administrative procedures shift, errors or stale interface instructions can occasionally occur.
We take every report of factual inaccuracy seriously. We do not bury corrections or quietly alter instructions without tracking revisions. When an error of fact or a stale step is identified, we correct it promptly and transparently.
2. How We Handle Correction Reports
When a correction report is submitted via our portal or contact channels, it initiates an automated editorial workflow:
- Initial Triage (0-12 Hours): Our editorial team reviews the submission, verifies the reported article URL, and identifies the specific step, formula, or statement in question.
- Hands-On Testing & Re-Verification (12-24 Hours): An editor re-tests the step against live software, official documentation, or legal filings to confirm whether the behavior has changed.
- Resolution & Article Update: If an error is confirmed, the guide is updated immediately, the "Last Updated" timestamp is refreshed, and a formal note is logged in our internal revision history.
3. Types of Corrections We Track
We classify issues into three distinct categories based on their operational impact:
- Major Factual Errors: Incorrect code syntax, wrong legal/tax figures, or misleading step sequences that prevent a user from completing a task. Major errors trigger an immediate priority fix. Explore our updated technology guides in Technology & Software.
- Interface Drift & Stale Screenshots: Minor visual shifts in application menus or updated button labels that do not break the overall process but may cause brief confusion. Read our step-by-step guides in All Practical Guides.
- Calculation & Formula Adjustments: Discrepancies in computational tools, tax rates, or currency conversions. Try our interactive computational engines in Free Calculators & Tools.
4. Transparency & Privacy
Submissions to our corrections portal are strictly confidential. We never sell, publish, or disclose reader names or contact details. For details on how we protect reporter privacy, review our Privacy Policy.
